The Seattle Seahawks have been eliminated from playoff contention in the NFC, and in Week 18 they will face the Los Angeles Rams, who have already clinched the division, which will make this game rather meaningless for them.
But the Seahawks will no doubt be looking to win and end their season on a positive note, especially after they have won five of their past seven games following a 4-5 start.
But a possible impediment to getting that final win popped up when quarterback Geno Smith was added to the injury report.
“As you can see here, Seahawks listed quarterback Geno Smith as limited with a right biceps injury. He has not been on the report previously this week,” Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times wrote on X.

When Smith became the starting quarterback for Seattle after they traded franchise cornerstone Russell Wilson, many felt they would be stuck in mediocrity, or even in the basement of the NFC, for some time.
But Smith responded with an excellent 2022 campaign, leading the league in pass completion percentage and helping Seattle reach the playoffs.
However, his production has declined ever since, and after 30 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in 2022, he has 17 TDs and 15 INTs this season, although he does have more than 4,000 passing yards and a 70.2 percent pass completion rate.
The Seahawks have young players to build around, including wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, linebacker Derick Hall and cornerback Devon Witherspoon.
Witherspoon was named to the Pro Bowl for the second time in as many seasons, and he received some votes for Defensive Rookie of the Year last year.
