The Green Bay Packers made it close in the end, but the game wasn’t close at all.
The Minnesota Vikings dominated from start to finish, and Matt LaFleur’s team made things interesting only with a late-game surge.
Even so, Skip Bayless still loves the Packers.
Following their close loss in the divisional contest, Bayless took to X to say that he still thinks they will make it to the NFC Championship Game.
Very impressed with Green Bay’s fight. Love me some Jordan Love. Still love the Packers to make it to the NFC Championship Game.

Truth be told, they have the personnel to do so.
Nevertheless, if you take a closer look, you have to be worried if you’re a Packers fan.
Yes, all of their losses have been close, but four weren’t close at first.
The Packers have had dreadfully slow starts against the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions twice, and their comeback attempts have been too little, too late.
LaFleur’s team has dominated bad teams, but they haven’t been as good against the top teams.
They have all the talent in the world and are well-coached, but not even the best teams in the league can win if they’re constantly digging themselves into big holes.
That’s going to be a point of emphasis going forward.
It would be a shame to see such a talented team falling short because of so many self-inflicted wounds early in a game.
Then again, the playoffs are a completely different thing, and they looked very good in the postseason last year.
