The Cleveland Browns were eliminated from playoff contention weeks ago and hold a record of 3-13 entering the final game of the season.
So, it makes sense that they are resting some of their starters in Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens.
In doing so, they reportedly have decided to use Bailey Zappe as their starting quarterback, according to Tom Withers of The Associated Press, via ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler.

Zappe will be the fourth starting quarterback that the Browns have used this season, including Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
With the Ravens looking to clinch the AFC North, things could get ugly for the Browns on the road.
Zappe has started eight NFL games and played in a total of 14 since being selected by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
He has thrown 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and will be looking to perform well in what could be another audition for the rest of the league.
If he plays well, perhaps he could get a chance to continue his career elsewhere.
However, things cannot get much worse if you are a Browns fan.
In fact, the future of the team seems to be completely up in the air, starting with the quarterback position.
Time will tell whether or not Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski can guide this team to success in the next few years.
